EPISODE 1 - SEA
The ocean is a dangerous place for humans. The limitations of the human body in water mean an almost total reliance on technology for any successful operation above or below. Included in this technology are a range of sea animals.
Introduction - CGI Deadly Dolphins A CGI Dolphin appears before the camera in an 8mm film look from years past. The Dolphin has a sharp needle attached to it's nose. Into its vision comes an enemy diver under the water. The Dolphin faces the diver and moves like a torpedo toward him. The diver looks on in horror as the Dolphin drives the needle through the divers wetsuit, releasing a charge of deadly CO2 into the body cavity, causing the diver to literally explode.
Dolphins – Underwater Sentinels Originally studied for their aerodynamics underwater, it was soon realised that Dolphins were intelligent and capable animals, easily trained and extremely useful in conflict situations.
Top Sea Lions - The Predator of the Gulf
Right now Sea Lions are being used in the current campaigns in the Persian Gulf to hunt and capture enemy divers.
Top DECOMMISIOING DOLPHINS – RUSSIAN STYLE
There was a dark time, not so long ago, when it seemed as if the killer dolphins of the Black Sea Fleet would never find peace without war. Trained, in the words of a Ukrainian Navy spokesman, to ''seek, find, kill,'' the 70 special forces dolphins lost their sense of purpose when the wall fell.
Dolphin therapy has been used for years in countries like Israel, Japan and the United States. Because dolphins are highly sophisticated and intelligent, most physiologists and researchers believe they are better able to communicate with humans than any other species -- although their nickname is still only man's second best friend.
''They work with all sorts of children,'' said c on the base who supervises some of the dolphins' new activities. ''Autistic children, shy children. Dolphins can cure many different problems. They make people feel at home. They improve their auras.''
